The Robespierre House

Maximilien Robespierre lived in this house with his sister Charlotte and his brother Augustin from 1787 until April 1789, before leaving for Versailles.

This 18th-century house was restored by the Compagnons du Devoir in 1999. The main room features information panels and displays presenting Robespierre's youth in Arras and his career as a lawyer before his departure for Paris.
