Cité Nature

Housed in a former miners’ lamp factory renovated by the renowned architect Jean Nouvel, Cité Nature is a cultural and scientific centre dedicated to food, agriculture, nature and health.

The site features 2,500 m² of permanent exhibitions focusing on the environment, food products and the history of agriculture and nutrition. It also hosts 1,500 m² of temporary exhibitions that are regularly renewed throughout the year.

A discovery area has been specially designed for children, while activity rooms offer engaging and interactive ways to explore a wide range of topics.

Outside, 15,000 m² of themed gardens invite visitors to stroll and observe nature, including a vegetable garden, vineyards and a rose garden.

Designed for visitors of all ages, Cité Nature combines learning, exploration and enjoyment in a welcoming and accessible environment.
