Cit'Loisirs

Located within the Citadel of Arras, close to the town centre and around 2 km from the famous Belfry of Arras Town Hall, Cit'Loisirs offers a unique leisure experience in an outstanding historical setting.

Visitors can explore the preserved surroundings of the Citadel of Arras, one of Vauban's 17th-century fortresses, with its impressive gates, military buildings, ramparts and bastions.

Since its demilitarisation in 2008, the citadel has been freely accessible and offers numerous opportunities for family walks along green pathways beside the moats and fortifications.

The park features a large high-ropes adventure course with 13 routes suitable for different ages and ability levels. Highlights include a 210-metre zip line overlooking the moats and running alongside the citadel walls, as well as a Tarzan jump. A dedicated Baby area is available for children under 6 years old. Visitors may repeat the courses as many times as they wish during their visit.

For a different way to discover the site, six treasure hunts are available from the age of 4. Combining observation and problem-solving, these activities provide around 2 hours of adventure through the wooded areas of the citadel.

The park also offers three outdoor escape games suitable from the age of 6. Using augmented reality and a tablet, participants solve puzzles and complete challenges during a 2-hour adventure:

• Pacifix and Acajou versus Détritusss
• The School of Wizards
• Alice and the Chronogear

Another flagship activity is the biathlon challenge, combining orienteering and laser target shooting over a period of 2.5 to 3 hours for participants aged 8 and over.

Thrill-seekers can also experience the Quick Flight, a free-fall-style jump from a height of 10 metres.

With its wide range of activities and preserved natural surroundings, Cit'Loisirs offers an original leisure experience in the heart of an exceptional heritage site.
