Le Verger des Vertes Collines

The association « Ensemble au Verger » is dedicated to preserving traditional local apple varieties within a conservation orchard known as « Le Verger des Vertes Collines », located in Monchy-Cayeux in the Green Artois region.

Colapuis, Belle Fleur Double, Lanscailler, Cabarette and Gueule de Mouton are among the many varieties maintained on the site. These apples can be eaten fresh, cooked or pressed for juice, with ripening periods spread throughout the season to offer a wide range of flavours.

The association provides advice and guided visits upon request. It also organises grafting workshops to pass on the skills and knowledge required to preserve this valuable local fruit-growing heritage.
