Brasserie W:

The farmhouse spirit lies at the heart of Brasserie W, striking a balance between the traditions of the old farm breweries of Northern France and the inspiration of contemporary American farmhouse breweries.

Founded in 2018 by Simon Willefert, Brasserie W is located at the heart of the family farm, where the Artois hills meet the former mining area, near Arras, Lens and Douai.

At Brasserie W, beer takes root in the fields, long before the brewing process begins. Some of the cereals are grown on the farm, while other farm-sourced ingredients are carefully selected to create authentic farmhouse beers that are deeply connected to their local terroir.

Brasserie W's beers are deliberately distinctive: rustic, rural and lively. They draw on Saison-style yeasts, reinterpreted traditional styles and ingredients sourced from the farm.

Since 2018, the brewery has continued to develop new recipes while remaining true to its philosophy: producing beers with character, made from simple, local ingredients, without compromising on quality.

Barley grown on the farm, aromatic plants and botanical inspirations: each recipe reflects a simple and sincere approach to brewing, focused on the quality of the ingredients and respect for the raw materials. It is an identity that Brasserie W intends to preserve.
